Gola Gokaran Shiv Nath Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva [21]. The Gola Gokaran also called Choti Kashi Nath. It is the belief of the people the Lord Shiva was pleased with the penance (Tapasya) of Rawana (King of Lanka) and offered a great help. Rawana requested the Lord Shiva to go to Lanka to him and leave Himalya forever. The Lord Shiva agreed to go on the condition that should not be placed anywhere on the way to Lanka. If placed elsewhere, would be established there. Rawana agreed and began his journey to Lanka with the Lord on the head. When he reached the Rawana Gokaran Nath Gola (then called Golliher) felt the need to urinate (a call of nature). Rawana offered some gold coins to a pastor (who was none other than Lord Ganesha send deities) Marketing of Lord Shiva in the head until he returned. The pastor (Lord Ganesha) put him on earth. Rawana not lift despite all their efforts. He insisted on the head with his thumb in total anger. Rawana The overall impression is still present in the Shivling.
